Draft: this page describes how the site works today and will be replaced by our full privacy policy before launch.
This page explains what OrcaStrate collects on this website and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you book a demo, we collect the details you enter: your name, work email, company, job title, phone number, the tools you use today, your sales team size and any notes.
When you sign up as a founding partner, we collect the details you enter: your name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, company, job title, LinkedIn and website, your answers about your clients, and any notes.
We count page views and clicks with PostHog. If you accept cookies, PostHog stores an identifier in your browser so we can recognize return visits, and records how you move through the site (session replay, with form fields masked) so we can improve it.
If you decline, or haven't chosen yet, we count visits without cookies or identifiers and record nothing. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie preferences in the site footer.
Chatting and calling with Kira
When you chat with Kira or call Kira, what you type or say and Kira's answers are sent to OpenAI to produce Kira's replies. A call uses your microphone only while the call is on, and only after you allow it in your browser. We don't keep recordings of calls, only a text transcript.
Kira also sees the page you're on, so he can answer about it and help you with it. With each chat question, and on a call when he looks at the page, the text on your screen and what you've typed into fields there go to OpenAI too. Passwords never do.
If you accept cookies, we keep the text of your chats and calls, and any demo request you send through Kira, for 90 days, so Kira can pick up where you left off next time. They're linked to a random ID in a cookie called kira_visitor, which holds no personal details. It's set only when you use Kira, and expires 90 days after you last did.
If you decline cookies, or haven't chosen yet, Kira still answers but doesn't remember you: we set no Kira cookie and keep no copy of your conversation. If you decline after accepting, Kira removes its cookie the next time you use it.
On a call, the demo request Kira fills in appears on your screen so you can check and correct it. Nothing is sent until you press Send request. In the chat, we take your first name and company from your email address.
To stop misuse, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for up to a day to limit how often Kira can be used.
How we use it
We use your details to arrange and run your demo and to follow up about OrcaStrate. We use the page counts to learn which parts of the site are useful. We don't sell your information.
Who handles it for us
Railway hosts this site and its database, Resend delivers our emails, PostHog provides analytics and OpenAI powers Kira's chat and calls. Each handles data only to provide that service to us.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the details you sent, including your conversations with Kira, by replying to any email from us.
To make Kira forget this browser, decline cookies with Cookie preferences in the site footer, or clear this site's cookies: your past conversations are then no longer linked to you, and are deleted after 90 days.
